USING ALTERNATIVE PRODUCTS TO REDUCE COSTS FOR A LEADING IT/ ITES MULTINATIONAL COMPANY.

the Customer

The customer is a market leader in software and services for service providers in communications, media and entertainment industry. It has a reputation of embracing huge challenges, and a track record of more than 30 years. With more than 10,000 employees spread across India, the industry leader has offices in multiple locations.

The Challenge

At Mystair, we had to work on two primary issues for the customer:

1. To bring down the paper towel usage, especially in cafeterias.
2. To bring down the usage of toiletries across locations.

How We Solved It

The Mystair team employed a holistic approach to solve the problem. We started by observing how the employees of the company were using the paper towels currently and analysed the usage patterns. After thorough observations for a week, we proposed an appropriate solution to the client that would bring down both the costs.

The team explained to the client, that currently, multi-fold paper towels from a world-renowned brand were installed in the office locations. We proposed using the Mystair: 1737 Lever Towel Dispenser in cafeterias and 4103 Recycled Multi-fold Towels along-with 1721W foam soap dispensers for the washrooms to reduce the costs. This helped immensely in cutting the usage, through our products’ optimal, no-wastage designs and compact packaging.

Post installation, the customers found that paper towel usage in cafeterias reduced by 30% and in washrooms – by 25% approximately.

Tackling bad odour in washrooms using effective products for a leading IT Multinational company

the Customer

The customer is a service-based IT multinational company in software services, marketing and consulting. A market leader – the organisation has a multi-location presence in India that employs more than 3000 people.

The Challenge

The Mystair team was called in for a consultation with the IT multinational to tackle the odour problem in their washrooms.

How We Solved It

After the initial consultation with the customer, the Mystair team set out to observe the washroom usage patterns of the employees in various locations. We took a comprehensive approach in solving the issue, after understanding the pain-points that are behind the challenge posed in front of us.

We learned that the washrooms were equipped with aerosol air fresheners previously. As an alternative, we suggested the customer installs Mystair’s UNJ010 Autojan & UNJ 001 refills for urinals and washroom seats.

The powerful automated Janiter System ensured that the odour is tackled at the source, while keeping the washroom fixtures intact in new condition. Further, the refills which follow biodegradability conditions allowed for the odour to be controlled, while filling the washrooms with a fresh citrusy fragrance.

Tackling bad odour in washrooms using effective products for a leading IT Multinational company

the Customer

The customer is a leading multinational investment bank with offices across the globe. The bank has a reputation for its financial services around various cities both in India and around the world.

The Challenge

The Mystair team had to solve three key problems for the customer:

1. Providing product solutions at all the client’s Indian offices spread across various locations.
2. Providing equally good product solutions for office locations in tier 2 and tier 3 cities on par with tier 1 cities.
3. Maintaining a uniform quality across multiple locations in India, through a single vendor.

How We Solved It

The Mystair team was posed with a unique challenge of providing superior quality products in both Tier 1 as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The team then set out to analyse the consumption patterns in various locations and collect unique data from each of them.

Through the analysis, Mystair team learned that the bank was using paper towel dispensers with tissues of different shapes and sizes with no uniformity in the products. We then proposed to the bank’s concerned team that a standardization all the hygiene products must be done for optimal utilisation.

Additionally, our vast distributor network across India delivered the uniform quality products to various locations on time, solving the issue for the customer.

In what can be described as a milestone for us, the Mystair team installed 2500 dispensers for the customer. The 2500 dispensers consisted of the following: 1721 foam soap dispensers, 1705 JRT dispensers, 1717 HRT dispenser and 1907 air fresheners in 23 facilities across India.

The Challenge

How We Solved It

The Mystair team applied a comprehensive strategy to analyse the hospital’s soap consumption patterns as well as the services that would be required in the facility. All the consumption patterns were considered for a week before suggesting the customer efficient alternatives.
